Rose McIver is currently exploding on TV screens with two hit shows that are rocking the ratings. This talented, natural beauty was born and raised in just west of the City of Auckland, New Zealand.

Rose got her start in acting when her older brother was scouted for a short film called "The Joker" and she played his infant sibling. Establishing herself as a child who could behave on set and remember lines, she began to get more roles. Rose’s first significant role at the age of three was as an angel in the Oscar winning movie “The Piano”. Rose continued to pursue acting while at grade school, and during school holiday breaks, she would book small roles on local films and television shows. At sixteen, she landed the lead in a television series called “Maddigan's Quest” and after that, she juggled school and work for her final two years of high school.

Now, Rose is currently playing every girl’s beloved character ‘Tinkerbell’ on the hit ABC series, “ONCE UPON A TIME”. With the search to rescue Henry from Peter Pan, Tinkerbell is set to play an integral role in helping find him before he disappears into Neverland forever. Rose can also be seen in Showtime’s critically acclaimed series “Masters of Sex”, starring opposite Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan. The show is based on Thomas Maier's biography Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the Couple Who Taught America How to Love. Rose plays ‘Vivian’ the daughter of Provost Barton Scully played by Beau Bridges and Alison Janney’s character Margaret. Vivian is a young girl of nineteen who is desperate to become a woman and sets her eyes on a handsome doctor, Dr. Haas, played by Nicholas D’Agosto.

On the big screen, Rose is set to star in the independent film “Brightest Star” as ‘Charlotte’ the romantic lead opposite Chris Lowell. The film premiered at the Austin Film Festival and is awaiting a theatrical and VOD release in January 2014. After the heartbreaking end of his first love, a recent college graduate sets out to win back the girl (Charlotte) of his dreams only to discover a greater journey awaits him. The film also stars Allison Janney.

Rose was last seen in theaters in the multi-award winning Dreamworks film "The Lovely Bones" (directed by Peter Jackson) as 'Lindsey Salmon' starring opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz. She also starred in the independent film “Blinder” starring as the female lead opposite Jack Thompson and Anna Hutchinson.

Rose is based in Los Angeles, but often goes back to New Zealand, which she also considers home.
